Why on earth does it cost more to fill a pothole in Ealing than in Croydon? The west London council receives more money from the Government per head of population for road repairs - yet it has 107 miles less roads.
I support the Council's campaign to expose the injustice and win a bigger slice of funding for Croydon's residents. With two-thirds of the Council's finances derived from this grant, it is vital to secure a better deal to protect and improve the services that we all expect from our Council.
I have raised this issue in the House with Local Government issues but you can help too by showing your support. Find out how to sign the
online petition here.
