Jainism - an ancient inspiration to being green

21 November 2009

Inter faith week takes me to the pleasure of visiting the Oshwal Marajanwadi started in an old church back when I was a Councillor in Broad Green in the 1980's.

Jainism's belief in an eternal world provides resonance to today's green movement.

Huskless rice is used as a sterile and so pure material to provide meditational creation of religious symbols.
